Amedeo Avogadro
Avogadro was an Italian scientist who studied, mathematics and chemistry. He was born on August 9th, 1776 and died at the age of 80 in 1856. He studied most of John Dalton, and Joseph Louis Gay-Lussac for their ideas and theroms. He used Gay-Lussacs the laws of combining volumes, and Daltons Atomic Theory. Avogadro used both of the theories as to get a better understanding of molecular canstituecy. In 1801 he started his practice of law, and then privet math and science courses, and his first scientific research was held in 1803. After Avogadros death, the ideas of Mole was introduced. When a molecular weight in grams (mole) of any substance contains an equal amout of molecules, then according to Avogadro's Principal, the molar volumes of gases should equal the same. Avogadro intoduced one of the most basic measurment units in Chemistry.
