About the mole
The SI Unit of Measurement for the amount of a substance. One mole of anything is equal to 6.022x10^23. A mole in chemistry is used so chemists don't get confused with other chemist's work. It contains as many particles as there are atoms. The mole is a counting unit (dozen, couple, few, etc.) the abbreviation for mole is mol.
