history of mole day
Celebrated on October 23 from 6:02 am to 6:02 pm, it celebrated Avogadros number which is the basic measuring units in chemistry. It was made a holiday to get students interested and excited for chemistry, and it is celebrated all around the world. Teachers creat lessons, projects, labs all centered around the mole and Avogadros number. It was first celebrated in the early 1980's when someone posted an article in The Science Teachers.
